Felting has a rich history spanning thousands of years. It predates spinning and weaving and can be traced back to the nomadic tribes of Central Asia who first discovered that raw wool fibres could be made into a felt to make clothes. Felting is the oldest form of garment making. I keep to the traditional method of 'wet felting': using only water, soap, and agitation to create a fine felt.
